Home   ⁄   Flauschink

Flauschink, was started in 1969 by George Sibley, among others, to celebrate the “flushing out of winter and welcoming of spring.” This historic event continues to this day towards the beginning of the spring thaw as a reminder of how wonderful the spring and summer months in Crested Butte really are.

The event takes place in a variety of of locations, typically over the coarse of a week, including a parade, at the end of the ski season. Make sure to check out the Flauschink Facebook Page for updated information.
